Trails

Early provisional information about the hashing territory and potential trails for IS2026 weekend.

Saturday trail options: 3 runs and 1 walk. Leave your asphalt shoes at home.
Sunday hangover trails: one run and one walk - flat-ish.

Important:  For all trails we recommend that you pack wet weather gear, sun cream, mosquito spray, trail shoes (leave your ashalt shoes behind), enough food and water for you and a GPS enabled map. We’re not coming to find you if you get lost. Bring a shotglass (if you have one) for a drink stop.

Ball Breaker - start 10:00: approx. 24km with 700m ascent . Lots of forest, lots of hills, shiggy. Drinks stop(s) including water, swim stop and best views of Oslo. You should have GPS on your phone. It’s longer than you think, self-loathing guaranteed.

Long trail - start 10:30: approx. 14 km. A to B. We take the train to A and run to B. Lots of forest. Drink stop and swim stop. Plenty of hills, stunning views. 400 m ascent. If you miss the start, you miss the train, and you’re not doing this trail.

Medium trail – start 11:00:  approx. 9km. Still up a hill, plenty of forest. Drink stop and swim stop.

Short trail – start 11:15: approx. 6km. Avoiding hills. Drink stop.

For all trails: bring suitable clothing. See “weather” below. This could include; wet weather gear, sun cream, mosquito spray, trail shoes (leave your asphalt shoes behind), extra water if required and a GPS enabled map. We’re not coming to find you if you get lost. There is plenty of time in the schedule to complete the trails – no hurry.

The circles and lunch will be outdoors.

Sunday Hangover: A 2 B in the city centre, run 6km and walkers 4 km.
